Rises from the dusty heap of civil society

Contemporary Contempt 
Reminding me that in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, it was in the shadow of the monolith that the apes first realized that a bone could be turned into a weapon. I’m not sure what that adds up to, but I don’t think it’s good.
